Blinky's Review: Pleasant cherry and dried berry fruit aromas. Wonderful feeling on the mouth, leathery yet crisp. Slightly astringent finish, but smooth with medium to full body and chokecherry flavors. 13.5% alc/vol.

Blinky's Review: Mostly plummy and spicy aromas, but with some cedar and cinnamon as well. This wine has a really wonderful leathery mouth feel with lingering yet smooth tannins. There is an explosion of blackberry jam on the tongue, with spices, and a hint of something like graphite or stone. This fruit forward wine is very enjoyable and displays unique characteristics of the Valle de Guadalupe, and is unlike any other Cabernet Sauvignon I have tasted. At 13.5%, this unusual cab is full-bodied and is really a pleasant product from Mexico. However, I feel that this wine is not great value given the many wonderful Sonoma or Napa cabs in the same price range.

Blinky's Review: This is the Artist Series Cabernet Merlot. At 14% alc/vol, this wine is very pleasant. Aromas of dark fruit and wood, and enjoyable red fruit flavors, supple tannins, with good body and great legs. Overall, a nice surprise.

Blinky's Review: Oak, tobacco and pepper on the nose. Red fruit, earth, wood and some mineral flavors. Overall full bodied with well-rounded tannins and a spicy finish. Initially there was some astringency, but after breathing for 1.5-2 hours, the wine improved tremendously.
