bottlegrapes' Review: This is a really nice wine for its price point. It's drinkable on a warm summer day - it doesn't warm your bones like a bold zinfandel. But it has plenty of flavor and a gorgeous deep color.

bottlegrapes' Review: Fabulous wine for the price point. I was extremely impressed by it, and had actually forgotten about it until I was "strolling through the aisles" here on snooth. It contains the rich, berry flavors I so love in a good zinfandel.

bottlegrapes' Review: Saw this in restaurant with one of the top five largest private cellars in the country. They actually had it by the glass, for a rich $19. I asked the waiter, "Seriously. Is it worth it?" He said it was and brought me a taste. It was worth it. I went on a quest to find it, but sadly discovered it was exclusively allocated to the restaurant. This was phenomenal.

bottlegrapes' Review: This was a special occasion wine for us - my husband's 40th birthday. It was worth it. For as long as I've been drinking and love wine, I still struggle with identifying the popular descriptive words you often read in wine reviews. I can't taste lemongrass and truffles in wine! But with this one, I clearly remember thinking, "Ah! leather and tobacco. I get it!"

bottlegrapes' Review: This has been an interesting one to watch on the market. When I first had it about six or seven years ago, it was around $12, and for what you got, it was a steal. Then it became more popular, and I saw the price about double over time. It's a good wine to serve when you have people who like reds, but maybe don't like their reds to knock them over. It's one that can appeal to a wide range of tastes. I wouldn't pay more than $20 for it, but it's a nice little red.

bottlegrapes' Review: Had a bottle of this then couldn't find it any more. My mom, who lives about 500+ miles from me, called me one day from a wine store to "see if I needed anything." It was just an excuse to call, I have a lot of great wine boutiques near me. But I told her to ask if they had S2, since I couldn't find it again. They did! I had her buy me half a case (yes, I mailed her a check for it). It was worth the hassle - this is really a great wine. Big, bold berries in this one.
