Stoneboat Vineyards Pinot Noir 2006

Name: Stoneboat Vineyards Pinot Noir
Vintage: 2006
Varietal: Pinot Noir
Winery: Stoneboat Vineyards
Region: Canada > British Columbia
SnoothRank: 3/5

Zweigelt's Rating: 4.5/5
Zweigelt's Review: I was only able to get my hands on two of these bottles. The first one I opened last fall sometime and it was great. The second one I opened recently and it still could have aged longer. Beautiful bouquet of cherries, cinnamon, with hints of vanilla and more silky red fruit on the palate. Medium length finish and very well rounded. Most pinot noirs from the Okanagan are either fruit bombs or are so light that they should technically be a rosé. This one is complex and very well made.

As posted on Snooth
